At the age of 16 Christopher managed to unsettle the spectators at a concert at the music school: his first electronic compositions were accompanied by a psychedelic slide show – pictures of the first manned landing on the moon appearing to heavenly sound sequences. Coincidence and luck brought him to a musically open piano teacher who was also a fan of electronic music. The following piano lessons left their mark on his future career of musician. For his seventh Birthday in 1977 Christopher von Deylen was made a present of a piano by his grandfather.
